Allison Kamm, DNP
Family Medicine
Practice philosophy:
Allison believes in developing trusting and collaborative relationships with her patients. She feels any care decisions should be made together, and a good practitioner is there to guide, not dictate plan of
care. She believes her patients are important partners in their own health. She is especially interested in treating chronic conditions, mental health, diabetes and women’s health.
Professional expertise:
Allison earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and spent seven years as an intensive care nurse. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Medicine from the University of Maryland in 2018 and has spent the last 5 years working in family medicine and primary care.
Personal Interests:
Allison’s personal interests include spending time with her husband and 2 year old daughter, camping, hiking, skiing and traveling. She is an avid Fantasy Football competitor and likes to spend Sundays rooting for the Baltimore Ravens with her husband.
